There is a 3.5% convenience fee on credit payments. To avoid this fee, please pay by cash, check or debit card by the 1st of each month.
  • Accounts not paid by the 10th of each month will accrue a 5% late penalty on their account.
  •  Accounts more than 60 days past due may be submitted to collection services.

NSF on paper checks, auto-debit, or auto credit-charge payments will incur a $25 NSF fee which will be paid at the front desk along with the tuition.

Refunds/Credits On Account:

  • Refunds are only issued when RockStar Dance Studio® cancels a class due to low enrollment.
  • All other fees are non-refundable

Withdrawal From Class:

There is a two month minimum for all lessons. One-month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any payments. To withdraw a parent must: 1) inform the studio via email or complete and sign a withdrawal form.  Automatic bank debiting or credit card charges will stop after the one-month notice period.

FAQs

How do I know which class to enroll my child in?

Currently our dancers are placed in classes based on their age.  If the scheduled class for your dancer’s age group does not work for your family, the dancer is always able to dance in a younger age level class. Teen Tap and Ballet Pointe are by invitation only.

What is the earliest age I can enroll my dancer?

Our Shooting Stars Program is for dancers ages 2-5 years old.  It is broken down into two groups, 2-3 year olds and 4-5 year olds.  These classes offer a combination of Ballet, Tap and Tumbling.

How long is the session?

Our 2021-2022 Session is from August 2021 through May 2022. During the summer months, we offer camps, workshops and a modified short session.

Can my dancer try out a class before joining?

If you are new to our studio, we offer one free trial class. Additional trial classes are treated as a scheduled drop in and there is a charge of $20 per class. Please contact the studio to arrange your class.

I did not register in the beginning of the session, can I still enroll?

Yes, we accept new dancers through March 1st.

Is there an online class option?

Yes! We offer our classes online following our current schedule. Dancers must be enrolled as an online student for access.

How Do I pay tuition and when is it due?

Monthly tuition is due by the 10th of every month (August-May). You are able to pay for tuition through our family portal (Dance Studio Pro) by credit/debit card or bank account.  You can also pay in the studio by check, cash or card.  You can sign up for Automatic Payments through the family portal. Autopay is withdrawn on the 5th of every month.

Are there additional expenses outside of tuition?

There is an annual session registration fee, Showcase fee* and expenses for proper shoes and dancewear. (*Showcase is optional for our families-but highly recommended). Please see our fee schedule for additional information.

What happens if my dancer misses a class, do I get a refund or credit?

If your dancer misses a class, we do not refund or credit for the class. We offer a make-up class in any open class that works for your dancer’s age and schedule. Contact the studio via email to schedule make-up classes.  You can make-up a class anytime during the current session.

We are going to miss an in-person class due to going out of town, what is our option?

If you provide the studio 24 hour notice, we can provide online class for your dancer. Email the studio to set up.

Is there a dress code?

In order to minimize injury and receive the best possible instruction all dancers should have their hair secured in a neat ponytail or bun (buns are requested for ballet). We ask that dancers wear a leotard with tights or leotard with leggings. If in doubt about what to wear, email our Studio and ask. Masks or face coverings are required for dancers ages 6 and up.

Where can I purchase dancewear?

RockStar Dance Studio® has an online store for suggestions on what to wear in classes.  For more suggestions/options, please contact the studio.

Can I observe my dancer during class?

While our current COVID protocols do not allow for in studio observation, you are welcome to view through the windows at the front of the studio.

Do you offer classes for boys?

Boys are always welcome to enroll in any of our dance classes.

Do you offer classes for adults?

Yes! We know adult life has our schedules changing often. We offer adult classes in a rotating monthly schedule.
